Wikipedia defines Frittata as an egg-based Italian dish similar to an omelette or crustless quiche, enriched with additional ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables or pasta.
It’s actually nothing more than a fancy omelet. Frittatas are one of the quickest, easiest, cheapest and most nutritious meals. All you need are some eggs and any combination of vegetables or meat. Mostly you throw in any leftovers you have and then you top it off with the beaten eggs and cook them to perfection. You can serve them as a dinner, snack, or lunch!
